WALKING THE SAIY ROAD
The Arabic meaning of “SAIY” is to “strive” or “pursue” and is derived from the effort of Prophet Abraham’s wife, Hagar, who while looking for water for her thirsty son, Ismail walked seven times between the two mountains Safa and Marwa (the Sai Road) until she found water gushing out beneath her son’s feet as he kicked the ground. This walking effort is re-enacted as part of the holy pilgrimage (Hajj). The stars in the logo represent divine inspiration. SAIY strives to change people’s lives with growth that matters through God’s grace.
With its foundation based on Islamic principles, SAIY Asset Management’s plan is to manage a suite of risk profiled regulated collective investment funds that are Shari’ah compliant without compromising on growth. Transparency, alignment of interests and true independence are core to our long-term vision of building a brand that really can change the face of investments.
